I was working on the SBA.gov project for about 2 years, as part of a team of developers. My responsibilities included:
- Implemented responsive pages across the SBA.gov site.
- Implemented custom integrations of third party plugins into the SBA.gov Drupal architecture, for example: colorbox, history API, jVectorMap, etc.
- Create Drupal template and render functions whose markups are section 508 compliant.
- Create module that are using data from multiple databases in the same server as well as using API’s.
- Ensuring cross browser compatibility of design and functionality supporting modern browsers, as well IE versions not older than IE-8.
- Created module, form and node hooks for site functionality
- Follow protocols for using version control system.
- Write markups using template files or render functions that are compliant with section 508.
- Implementing custom setups for bi-lingual site, including sharing of template files, styling, resources sharing between the two site and separation of data between the two database.
- Implemented a way to keep track of translation/changes done to nodes on each language site.
- Implement styling that are visually compliant with section 508 and consistent across the different modern browsers, including IE version not older than IE-8.
